WUMAG TEXROLL - Continuation with plan to success

We are pleased to inform you that the business operations of the insolvent WUMAG TEXROLL in Krefeld will be continued as a subsidiary under the management of Carl KRAFFT & Söhne GmbH & Co. KG in Düren, starting as of October 01st, 2019.
Carl KRAFFT & Söhne has been able to acquire the business objects as part of an asset deal. The acquisition includes, among other things, the commercial premises in Krefeld, machines and trademarks. Furthermore, we have been successful in maintaining the highly qualified technical employees for the new scope of work. However, the number of employees had to be adjusted to the planned realignment.
The origin of the commitment of the new shareholder stems from their conviction, that they will be able to successfully take advantage of the extraordinary capabilities of the production site in Krefeld and have many benefits from the numerous synergies with the business in Düren. WUMAG TEXROLL will be active on the market as an independent company and focus on the manufacture of the products in Krefeld. The administrative tasks will be combined and carried out in Düren.
It is of great importance to us, in order to achieve optimal cooperation, that the brand name WUMAG TEXROLL remains unchanged. This is our way of expressing our respect for, and commitment to, the employees and their considerable abilities, as well as to the customers and the products.
We will produce the following core products at the Center of Excellence in Krefeld: Thin-walled Drying Cylinders for textile drying (PED, ASME and Chinese ML specifications), Double-Shell Rollers with thin-walled stainless steel jackets and Double-Shell Large Rollers.
In the mechanical engineering division, using the WUMAG TEXROLL brand, we will create a new starting point for another successful presence on the market with the innovative product "Plug & Dry" for complete cylinder drying systems.
