Since about 1980 KRAFFT has focused mainly on the production of rollers and has specialised in rotation-symmetrical components.

 


 

  

The know-how and the experience as a manufacturer of paper and cardboard machines has been the basis for being able, at this point in time, to supply products for many other areas of application.

Today, the KRAFFT product range includes almost all kinds of rollers, cylinders, drums, mixing-shafts, guide-rollers, winding-drums and heavy turning components. Their application is often not only used to guide or lead, but also to heat, cool, press and even to conduct electricity.

The design of the rollers is individually matched for each application, so that the interior will be appropriately fitted and the surface receives its plating as needed, e.g. chrome plating or rubber-lining. For these, KRAFFT uses special suppliers. 
 

 

To obtain maximum quality and maximum efficiency, all steps of the production are supervised according to the quality-management-system DIN ISO 9001.

 

 

The design and sizing of the products is determined by KRAFFT's own design office. The engineers work with CAD-systems and check the layout with the assistance of the finite elements method.
